Genshin Impacthas revealed the array of new cards coming to its Genius Invokation TCG game mode during Version 3.8, including three fan-favorite characters added to the game. The in-game TCG first introduced with Version 3.3 has seen regular updates to its cardpool since its launch, introducing new characters, cards, and ways to play. The recent Version 3.7 featured a massive update with over60 new cards added to Genius Invokation TCG, as well as new mechanics. Now, the game is set to receive even more cards with its next version.
Throughout its life, theGenshin Impacttrading card game has drawn on the world of Teyvat’s wealth of characters to offer new strategies for players to build decks. Each of the game’s updates since Version 3.3 have featured new additions to the character choices within the card game, both adding beloved playable characters and popular enemies.Genshin Impacteven featured a flagship event in Version 3.7 with the TCG as the focus. Now, TCG players will get three new characters in Version 3.8 with a variety of playstyles.

A recent reveal fromGenshin Impacthas showcased thenewest characters coming to Genius Invokation TCGwith Kazuha, Yanfei, and Candace added. Kazuha will feature mechanics largely revolving around the Swirl reaction, as well as imbuing Plunging Attacks with Anemo damage through his Elemental Skill. Yanfei features a similar Charged Attack focus to herGenshin Impactcounterpart, using buffs from her Elemental Skill and Burst to empower and reduce the cost for Charged Attacks. Candace focuses on supporting allies by granting Shield points with her Elemental Skill and converting Normal Attacks to Hydro damage with her Burst.
New Genius Invokation TCG Cards for Version 3.8
The newest Character Cards will not be the only additions coming to Genius Invokation TCG with Version 3.8 as five other new cards will be available for players to slot into their decks.Genshin Impactwill add two new Arcane Legend cards with Ancient Courtyard reducing dice costs for Weapons and Artifacts while Covenant of Rockgenerates more Elemental Diceafter running out of dice. Several cards in the update focus around reducing weapon costs including new Companion Master Zhang and event Rhythm of the Great Dream, while new weapon Fruit of Fulfillment draws cards on activation.
Genius Invokation TCG’s newest cards are far from the only area ofGenshin Impactwith significant updates on the way. Recent Special Programs have begun to drop major teasers for the upcoming region of Fontaine, expected to debut with Version 4.0 this summer. Version 3.8 will also feature the highly-anticipated Eula re-run, afternot appearing on aGenshin Impactbannerin nearly two years. Between Genius Invokation TCG updates and a new region,Genshin Impactplayers have plenty to look forward to throughout the coming patches.
