Wildlife is a type of NPC inGenshin Impactthat behaves similarly to every other animal in the game. The current update 3.0 has introduced a new type of aggressive wildlife which includes animals that are extremely territorial and are able to attack players when approached.
The new rainforest-themed Sumeru expansion has inspired many players to dust off their cameras and start their safari tour through the new region. A new post on the popularGenshin ImpactTips subReddit shows why Aloy is probably the best character for taking pictures with Teyvat’s wildlife.

Reddit user thompson743 has shared an interesting picture showing Aloy casually standing near a wild Rishboland Tiger. These new creatures usually attack anyone that approaches them, but Aloy manages to stay unharmed thanks to one of her passive talents named Easy Does It. This passive talent allows Aloy and her party members not to be attacked by any animals that produce Chilled Meat, Raw Meat, or Fowl, which includes the Rishboland Tiger. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that Aloy is the perfect character to have in the party forGenshin Impact’s photo events.
Some comments claim that they have finally managed to find a use for this forgotten character that arrived to the roster as part of the 2021 collaboration event betweenGenshin ImpactandHorizon Zero Dawn, only obtainable during updates 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3. Even though she is regarded as a five-star character, Aloy is unfortunately one of the weakest units in the game at the moment.
She holds the last place on thecurrent Spiral Abyss usage character usage charts. Players claim that HoYoverse should introduce some buffs to this Cryo bow user by giving her additional constellation levels. Aloy is currently the only character in the game without any constellation upgrades which can play a huge role in a character’s damage potential.
A big part of the community claims that HoYoverse managed to take theGenshin Impact’s exploration experienceto the next level in the new Sumeru region. The new NPCs can be seen doing various activities such as playing cards or petting animals which was hardly the case in the three previous major regions. HoYoverse’s new approach to NPC character designs gives more depth to the wholeGenshin Impactstory, and it removes the impression that everything in the world revolves around the players.
Genshin Impactis now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
