The Serenitea Pot allowsGenshin Impactplayers to create luxurious and fulfilling homes, and a dedicated player decided to create an old-western saloon with the teapot’s Floating Abode realm. Although some building limitations exist in the Serenitea Pot,Genshin Impactplayers have used a popular method to circumvent restrictions placed by HoYoverse.
Reddit user HEB_AQW created an elaborate saloon within the Serenitea Pot’s Floating Abode realm, which is a small realm designed to showcase a single home inGenshin Impact. The newly-created saloon stays true to wild west renditions with a large wooden bar, tables, and barrels adorning the first floor. An old record player may be found on the first floor, allowing the user to change music for the Floating Abode realm. HEB_AQW also formed stairs out of wooden crates, which leads to a second floor created by using the popular clipping method. In the past, players have used the clipping method to create large structures including apirate ship inGenshin Impact.

To create the saloon, HEB_AQW used theGenshin Impactclipping methodto arrange objects anywhere within the teapot’s pocket realm. Object restrictions may be negated within the Serenitea Pot by shaking objects until its red placement indicator turns blue. If the clipping method is done correctly, the object may be placed wherever the player wants, and replicating the method allows players to create stairs and new floors. As shown in HEB_AQW’s tour of the saloon, the second floor was made with ordinary wooden tables and fences. Objects were placed on top of the tables to create new bedrooms in the saloon.
The clipping method has not been patched or affected by HoYoverse’s updates toGenshin Impactyet. SinceGenshin Impact’sSerenitea Potdoes not affect game mechanics found in the greater world of Teyvat, it appears HoYoverse is not bothered by players using building exploits. As a result,Genshin Impacthome designers such as HEB_AQW continue to devise creations that are not obstructed by the teapot’s building restrictions.
The Serenitea Pot does not appear to be among HoYoverse’s top priorities at the moment, butGenshin Impactplayers still manage to find enjoyment within the pocket realm.Genshin Impact’svast world takes many hours to explore, so visiting the Serenitea Pot allows players to relax before venturing out once more.
Genshin Impactversion 3.2arrives in early November and a special program will reveal what’s to come in the new update. The update is unlikely to include new Serenitea Pot content, but HoYoverse is expected to reveal some exciting content for all players to take part in.
