Furina has already made multiple appearances inGenshin Impact’s main storyline in which she’s portrayed as a caring but very dramatic character who lives for the thrill of the courtroom. She won’t be the only new character in the next update as HoYoverse confirmed that 4.2 will also introduce a new four-star character named Charlotte.

Anew poston theGenshin ImpactLeaks subReddit shows a gameplay video featuring Furina alongside two other characters, Xingqiu and Hu Tao. This party focuses on the elemental reaction Vaporize which can be triggered by combining Pyro and Hydro. Activating this reaction will provide a simple damage buff for the trigger attack. The video shows that to use Furina, players just need to activate her Elemental Skill and Burst and let the main DPS do the job. According to recent leaks,Furina’s Elemental Skill, Salon Solitaire, will allow her to create elemental lifeforms that deal AoE Hydro damage which can be seen in the video. Their attacks will prioritize the target that the active character is focused on.
If a nearby character has more than 50% HP, these creatures will consume their health to buff their attacks. This damage increase will scale with the amount of HP they manage to consume, which could make Furina aperfect support for Hu Taowhose damage potential relies on her being low-HP.
