AGenshin Impactchart shows which five-star characters have missed the highest number of consecutive updates. Developer HoYoverse keeps introducing new updates every 6-7 weeks which are usually packed with new characters, weapons, events, or even regions.

Every update can be divided into two banner cycles, each of which offers a different set of limited characters and weapons. The ongoingGenshin Impactupdate 3.3 has introduced two new characters named Wanderer and Faruzan, both of whom are Anemo users. Version 3.4 also introduced three re-runs for popular five-star characters like Arataki Itto, Kamisato Ayato, and Raiden Shogun.

After the recent live stream even forGenshin Impactupdate 3.4confirmed the upcoming five-star characters, Reddit user RapidFresh has created an interesting chart that ranks characters by the number of consecutive updates they have missed. HoYoverse revealed that the Pyro user Hu Tao, who made her last banner appearance back in November 2021, will finally be featured on a banner re-run. This means that the Cryo claymore character Eula is the current record holder since she has missed 10 updates in a row, including the upcoming version 3.4. She is one of the strongest DPS characters inGenshin Impactwho also holds the record for the highest recorded damage number in the game.

Even though she is a descendant of the tyrannical Lawrence Clan, Eula cut her ties with her ancestors and became the captain of the Reconnaissance Company which is part of Mondstadt’s Knights of Favonious. Unlike mostDPS characters inGenshin Impact, Eula’s kit revolves around dealing Physical damage which gives her flexibility when it comes to choosing the perfect team composition.

The second character on the list is another Cryo user named Shenhe who arrived back in update 2.4 which hosted the annual Lantern Rite festival.Shenhe is considered a niche support characterwho needs to be surrounded by as many Cryo characters as possible to fulfill her potential. The damage buffs her Elemental Skill provides can only be triggered only if players deal Cryo damage.

Shenhe has great synergy with the third character on the list, Kamisato Ayaka, who’s always been one of the fan-favorite characters in the community. Her banner re-run still holds the record for most sales, but it should be noted that those numbers were heavily inflated by the three-week delay that occurred during update 2.6. Ayaka is an S-tier DPS character whose main strength is dealing elemental damage which makesthe sword Mistsplitter Reforgedthe go-to weapon for this Cryo user.

Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
