Speculations about Genshin Impact’s Chiori
Chiori’s first in-game mention came with Kirara,Genshin Impact’s newest Dendro unit. In her outfit’s description, it’s mentioned that Chiori designed it. It says that she kept in mind “the principle of wearing gorgeous flowers comfortably upon one’s body.” Though it isn’t much information, it does give a small peak into Chiori’s personality.Genshin Impactfans might think of her as a diligent woman who’s serious about her tailoring.
Chiori is allegedly afive-star Geo character from Inazuma. Many fans have already drawn the conclusion and made the hopes that she could be added to the Standard Banner based off that speculation. After all, the two kinds of characters missing from the Standard Banner are a Geo unit and a unit from Inazuma. Chiori would hit both boxes effortlessly, exciting players across the boards.
Not much has been said about her combat, though. It is too early on for leakers to have made any speculations, which leaves many fans wondering about her. Some hope that she will fill out the role of support, but in a game-changing way. It’s been too long sinceGenshin Impactadded a Geo characterto the game, and fans are wondering if she’ll bring in a new elemental reaction with her too, since all Geo is currently capable of doing is Crystallizing. And as it stands, it isn’t a powerful reaction by any means. The other numerous reactions, like Vaporize or Hyperbloom, far outshine the weak reaction Geo has.
In terms of her playability,Chiori’s speculated releaseis in 4.5. However, according to leakers, this won’t be the first time fans could see her. It’s speculated that an event in 4.3 will introduce players to her, and she won’t be alone. She’s alleged to take part in an event alongside Kamisato Ayaka and Ayato, Neuvillette, Wriothesley, and NPC Xavier. However, it’s currently unclear if this event is suspected to be in Fontaine or Inazuma. After all, all of those names are big players for their nations, so it’s hard for fans to imagine those characters ever leaving their roles even for a moment.
No matter when she comes or who with, fans will be anticipating her arrival. With a 500+ day gap between Yun Jin and Navia, since she is suspected to come before Chiori in 4.3, Geo fans feel starved. Players in general want to see more ofGenshin Impact’s playable Geo characters, butHoYoVersehas kept them waiting. Even Dendro, the newest added element to the game, has more playable characters as of October 2023.
