Summary
AFalloutfan took to social media to show off a custom-built PC they made that featured the Nuka-Cola product line throughout the rig. TheFalloutfan shared a picture of their finished handiwork, which included a Nuka-Cola bottle inside the case, and otherFalloutplayers complimented them for their efforts.
As one of the staple products of theFalloutseries, Nuka-Cola is modeled after the real-world Coca-Cola line of soda products. With red and white labeling, an unhealthy amount of sugar, and flavors charged up with radiation, Nuka-Cola has become synonymous with theFalloutbrand alongside Vault-Tec and other fictional companies. In the Fallout series' timeline, Nuka-Cola was created in 2044 and quickly became a national sensation in the US. Like most products in theFalloutuniverse, the Great War of 2077 ended Nuka-Cola production altogether, but as seen withFallout 4’s Nuka World DLC, Nuka-Cola’s influence remains prevalent.

Although Nuka-Cola is a fictitious brand based heavily on a real one, that has not stoppedFalloutfans from remembering it. On Reddit, a user named oddertech shared a picture of a Nuka-Cola PC they built on the r/gaming subreddit. In the picture, oddertech showed off a white PC case with six fans scattered throughout the chassis. There were three intake fans on the bottom, two exhaust fans next to the motherboard, and another exhaust on the case’s rear side. The rear fan was part of a 120mm AIO liquid cooler directly connected to the CPU. While the specs for the PC were not stated, the cooler’s cover was changed to look like a Nuka-Cola bottle cap. A bottle of Nuka-Cola was placed toward the front of the case, and oddertech put a Nuka-Cola label on top of the case, near the power supply’s shielding. TheFalloutrig featured an EVGAGeForce RTX GPUfor the graphics card, but the exact model was not stated.

The PC also had red and white cable extensions that supplied power to the various components. In the replies, oddertech clarified that the motherboard art was from aFalloutcollaboration with NZXT in 2018. According to NZXT, the motherboard cover was made for its NZ Z370 Intel motherboards, which sold for $49.99 during the promotion. The Z390 Intel chipset was eventually succeeded by later revisions such as the currentZ790 for Intel 13th and 14th generation CPUs. In response, some users commended oddertech for their effort.
With games such asFallout 76referencing Nuka-Cola, fan projects dedicated to the fictitious brand will continue to grow. It remains to be seen whatFalloutfans will create next.
