In order to obtain this item, fans mustdance on an Alteration Alter, which can be found near Chromejam Junction, Cloudy Condos, Flutter Barn, Lustrous Lagoon, the Reality Tree, Shimmer Shrine, and Shiny Sound. With a pair of Howler Claws equipped, players should look for an opponent andactivate Wolfscentwhen one is found. Activating this ability is as simple as pressing theaim input, which is indicated on the left side of the screen, and it makes it possible forFortniteplayersto temporarily track nearby foes. All that is left to do once a fan is under the effects of Wolfscent is to strike an opponent with the Howler Claws before the ability goes on cooldown.
To note, if a player uses Wolfscent when there are no opponents in their vicinity, the ability will immediately go on cooldown. This makes Wolfscent a useful tool for locating adversaries, as it is easy to know when there is one nearby. That said, opponents that are being tracked by Wolfscent will receive an audio cue that makes them aware of this fact, giving them the opportunity to prepare to defend themselves with theirFortniteweaponsor attempt to escape.
