Xbox Games with Goldhas been a staple for many gamers for trying out titles that they otherwise wouldn’t usually pick up. The freeXbox Games with Gold titles for October 2021have already been announced and offer a mix of classic and newer games.
Now it seems that Christmas, or Halloween to be exact, has come early forXbox gamers. As of now, two of the four games are currently available for early download one day ahead of schedule. These titles are the vampire hunting gameCastlevania: Harmony of Despairand the shooter gameAaero.

Players can download the games by searching for them on theMicrosoft Storeor manually downloading them on their Xbox console.Aaerowill be available to download from today to October 31, whileCastlevania: Harmony of Despairwill only be available from today until October 15.
Aaerois a mix between a rail shooter and a music rhythm game with electronic dance music. Released back in 2018, players control a ship to fight enemy vehicles in time with the music. The game takes about two hours to complete, but there are tons of side missions and other additional content.Castlevania: Harmony of Despairis a 2011 release that celebrates the franchise’s 2D roots for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game even supports a cast of familiar faces from theolderCastlevaniagamessuch as Soma Cruz, Alucard, and Jonathan Morris. However, unlike the original games, this one allows six players to work together to hunt down Dracula at the same time.
The two other titles,HoverandResident Evil: Code Veronica X,will be available at a later date.Hoveris a parkour-based game that puts players in a futuristic cyberpunk setting to take down an oppressive regime. Released back in 2017, the game allows players to flexibly switch back and forth from a single player to a multiplayer experience.Resident Evil: Code Veronica Xis the remastered version of the original Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 game. The game takes place afterResident Evil 2and follows Claire and Chris Redfield, who are trying to escape a viral outbreak from a research facility in Antarctica. There are also additional scenes in this remastered version that predominantly showcase Albert Wesker.
Hoverwill be available for download from October 16 to November 15 whileResident Evil: Code Veronica Xwill be available from October 16 to October 31. Luckily, both theCastlevaniaandResident Evilgames fit well with Halloween festivities for next month, which is perfect for gamers who are in a spooky mood.
