Princess Ivy Appears in Fire Emblem Engage
Another named enemy, called Ivy of Elusia has appeared. She is the sister of Hortensia, and she is a powerful enemy. Players are introduced not only to the King of Brodia, but also the crown prince and brother of Alcryst. It is reveled that Ivy is also after the Emblem Rings, and that she has a corrupted Emblem ring of her own containing theFire Emblemheronamed Leif. Players will have to defeat her and her army to save Brodia.
The Battle Against Ivy in Chapter 8
Not only doesFire Emblem Engage’s Ivy bring several devastating enemies with her, but she also is a very difficult enemy to defeat herself. Players will need to defend a certain line of spaces, and the best way to do that is to keep units on the row of squares that need to be defended and play defense; they should also ensure to take over the Ballista tile with a bow ally to use it against anyone coming too close. Enemies will destroy any breakable walls in the way, so don’t rely on them to keep enemies away.
Pick units with high accuracy for this mission as well as any long bow users players have available. A good choice for this mission isEtie, who will be able to do massive damage to Ivy since she is a flying unit. ensure to keep all flying characters away from any enemy mages with Wind Tomes.

As for Ivy herself, she is blessed with theEmblem Bylethwho will make her extra dangerous. She has the ability to counterattack first at low health with Vantage+, takes less damage with a boosted shield, and she also auto switches between a lance, an axe, and Fire Tomes depending on the best couterattack or attack at the time with Adaptable. She has a Res Stone, meaning players have to kill her twice. In order to beat her, attack from three squares away with a long bow and a Thunder Tome with the best possible mage.
Players will gain Crown Prince Diamant of Brodia, who has theFire Emblem Engagehero Roy, and another mounted lance unit named Amber. Amber also has a heavy weapon to slam enemies backward as Lapis does. Any enemies or allies with a yellow exclamation over their heads have a high crit chance on their weapons. New enemies will appear between each turn.

As a bonus for defeating Ivy, players will gain her Emblem with Leif in it, and it will be cleared of corruption.
