A creativeFar Cry 5player used the game’s map creator to build a custom version of the Eiffel Tower. This creation brings a new look to Hope County, the fictional region of Montana where the events ofFar Cry 5take place.

InFar Cry 5, the main character is a junior deputy sheriff who tries to shut down a doomsday cult called the Project at Eden’s Gate. This cult is led by the charismatic Joseph Seed and his family, with one ofhis siblings controlling each of Hope County’s regions. While the player’s goal is to shut down this doomsday cult and bring peace back to Hope County, the Seed family won’t go down without a fight and can count on their heavily armed cult members to do everything they can to stop the sheriff from capturing their leader. With fast-paced action, a large open world inspired by the United States, a branching storyline filled with deadly threats, and multiplayer modes,Far Cry 5was a commercial success and became the fastest-selling game in theFar Cryfranchise.

An inspiredFar Cry 5player known as Mojoswoptops2020 on Reddit shared an incredible artwork bringing the Eiffel Tower inFar Cry 5. To create this iconic Parisian landmark, they used 62 bridgeassets inFar Cry 5’s map editor, assembling them to resemble the Eiffel Tower. On top of a picture of this creation with trees and a beautiful sunset, Mojoswoptops2020 shared a video showing the creation process and how they turned an empty land plot into the Eiffel Tower, only using steel bridge assets fromFar Cry 5.

In the comments to this Reddit post, players were impressed with the realism of this Eiffel Tower. Most players didn’t even knowFar Cry 5featured a map editor for them to create new elements. TheFar Cry 5map editoris available through the Arcade mode, giving players over 9,000 different objects for them to build any kind of map and create their own sandbox world. Players who knew aboutFar Cry 5’s map editor were still baffled to see what Mojoswoptops2020 was able to build with it, asking the creator to add more iconic landmarks toFar Cry 5.

Players who haven’t triedFar Cry 5yet or those who would like to rediscover the game will soon be able to do so with higher visual quality than before on next-gen consoles. To celebrate the game’s fifth anniversary, Ubisoft released anext-gen update forFar Cry 5to make it run at 4K, 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
