His credits includeFallout: New Vegas,Icewind Dale,andPillars of Eternity.With his wealth of experience with RPG titles, it’s not unreasonable to think that he’s working on a new role-playing title. While there’s no confirmation of what his project is, many fans have speculated thatit could be afollow-up toFallout: New Vegas.Josh Sawyer directed the originalNew Vegastitle, and with Microsoft owning Bethesda and Obsidian, there is a chance thiscouldbe related toNew Vegas.There is no evidence to prove that it’s aFalloutgame, but it is technically possible.

Bethesda Might Be Too Busy for a New Fallout

Bethesda tends to take on a smaller number of projects at a time and work on them over the course of many years. Obsidian, on the other hand, seems to be picking up steam in recent years and have proven its expanded capacity and capability to work on several big projects at once.Obsidian has at least acknowledgedFallout: New Vegas 2, though it remains to be seen if the developer is working on the title at all.
