A user named Character-Gene-1572 has posted a clip of amemorable sequence of events inElden Ring. They appear to be running down a set of stairs before witnessing a platform below. There is a big gap between the edge of the platform and the stairs, but Character-Gene-1572 believes they can make the jump. This turns out to be a mistake, as the player miscalculates the distance and is seemingly about to fall to their death.

Right before they hit the ground, a nearby enemy executes a grab attack, depleting over half of their HP with a single move. However, Character-Gene-1572 probably expected to fall to their death, so this move saved them fromrespawning back at the previous Site of Grace.

The player survived the incident, as they posted a comment saying that they ran away to grab a Talisman they needed to get100% completion inElden Ring. Character-Gene-1572 claims to have never experienced an event like this in the 450 hours they have put into the game. OtherElden Ringplayers also appear impressed by the surprising turn of events, with one claiming it to be a once-in-a-lifetime ordeal. One user mentions that it would be difficult to replicate this move on purpose.

Elden Ring’s patch 1.07 seemingly added new textures, hair, map files, and more, that hint at the developer’s DLC plans for the game. It looks likeElden Ring’s DLC will feature the colosseumsand arenas that are currently inaccessible, but fans will have to wait for an official announcement from the development team. This recently released update also made a significant change to the game’s balance as it added different damage scaling for PvP and PvE inElden Ring. This allows FromSoftware to separately balance both modes independent of each other.

Elden Ringis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
