During a November 9 YouTube Gaming livestream, Dr Disrespect was watching DrLupo explore theWarzone 2DMZ mode as he stated that there’s, “too much AI.” AlthoughEscape from Tarkovhas AI enemies known as Scavs, Dr Disrespect noted an abundance of “unnecessary shots and fights” with these NPCs compared to Battlestate Games' FPS. According to Dr Disrespect, the DMZ AI is too easy, and the bigWarzone 2’s Al Mazrah mapmay also be a problem with the game mode as he suggested that it has a questionable design as he gave a skeptical look.
Suggesting that someWarzone 2fans may get bored with the DMZ mode quickly, Dr DIsrespect wondered whether it gets to a point of repetition with objectives, or if there are “very unique missions and objectives even after so many hours played of this mode?” AlthoughEscape from Tarkovhas some overlapping goals for players to complete, Dr Disrespect may be pointing at objectives in other popular games likeApex LegendsorFortnitebattle pass challenges as things the DMZ mode should avoid. While Dr Disrespect is regularly playingthe latestCall of Dutytitles, it’s currently unclear if he plans to delve much intoWarzone 2’s DMZ mode given his preference for battle royale.
Though many Dr Disrespect fans have responded to his recent YouTube livestream with surprise at his excitement forWarzone 2, others had some criticisms of their own forCall of Duty’s take on a DMZ game mode. As multipleCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers have reflected Dr Disrespect’s thoughts on the DMZ mode, others feel that the UI should be cleaned up, and it needsEscape from Tarkovstaples like healing mechanics, a complex inventory, and more.
