What Are Stygian Stones & How To Use Them In Diablo 4
Stygian Stones are an itemfound in The Pit, a new location in Season 4. They are used to summon Tormented Bosses, which are extremely rare on their own. The item’s description reads, “Bring this stone to the altar of powerful foes to unleash their full might. Acquired from delving into the depths of The Pit on World Tier 4: Torment.” Once players have obtained the Stygian Stones, they can take them to the Altar of Powerful Foes and use them to summon the Tormented Bosses.
The biggest issue with these items is that they are so rare players have been having a horrible time trying to find them. Without them, they can’t do any of the Tormented Bosses, which means they miss out on that entire aspect of the game. Here’s how players can farm these items.
How To Get Stygian Stones In Diablo 4
Obtaining the Stygian Stones is extremely difficult, especially due to their rarity. The main way players are supposed to get Stygian Stones is by completing levels in The Pit. Unfortunately, they need to complete the high levels if they want a chance to obtain some, which isn’t possible for some players. They are supposed to drop in The Pits and in the chest at the end of The Pit. Even at these higher levels, players may not find any Stygian Stones at all.
However, some players have found a clever way to get around this issue. If players keep creating new characters and grinding theirWolf’s Honor with the Iron Wolves, once they reach the end of Chapter 6 and Chapter 7, they will be able to obtain some Stygian Stones. Since this happens with every character, some players claim that this is the fastest way to obtain Stygian Stones.
