Summary
A recent update toDestiny 2makes the unique Crota’s End armor easier and a little more predictable to obtain. To this point, Season of the Witch has managed to be well received by the community thanks in large part to some of the new mechanics that have been introduced. Including the seasonal activities of Savathun’s Spire and the randomized Altars of Summoning,Bungie has added a deck building mechanic intoDestiny 2, allowing players to unlock both Major and Minor arcana that not only add passive buffs to combat encounters, but offer rewards and bonuses as well.
In addition to the new storyline featuring Eris as a Hive God,Season of the Witch brought back the Crota’s End raid, repurposed from the originalDestiny. Alongside the return of Crota, players can also pick up the Necrochasm auto rifle, a classic exotic weapon which has also been remixed from its original version inDestiny. The unique looking armor, Willbreaker, Deathsinger, and Relentless sets, also make their return and thanks to a recent update, they’re now a little bit easier and less random to obtain.

The recentDestiny 27.2.0.5 Update has brought a number of changes and quality of life updates to the popular live service title. One of the bigger changes in this update impacts the Crota’s End loot pool which has been updated to allow for a more balanced distribution of the available armor. While weapons are not impacted by this change, Bungie has updated the different encounters to drop specific pieces of armor. Following the update, players can better target the specific pieces of armor they need by completing the following encounters:
The change should make it a little easier and less random for players to earn the full set of Crota gear. The update also makes anumber of gameplay style changes toDestiny 2, including making a big change to the Heist Battleground Mars nightfall, effectively reducing the number of enemies and the frequency that they appear in some encounters on higher difficulties.
Considering how new Crota’s Raid is inDestiny 2, it hasn’t stopped Bungie from making a bunch of tweaks to ensure the experience is as solid as possible for players. Earlier in September, the studiotweaked the drop rates to the resource known as the Essence of the Oversoul, intending to make the process much smoother for players attempting to acquire the Necrochasm exotic auto rifle.
