The ever-expanding universe of theDark Pictures Anthologyis a curious place filled with time travel, ghosts of the past, monsters, and more. Within each universe,Supermassive Gamessometimes hides easter eggs or references to their previous games. These may be as small as a town sign in the background, or something as obvious as a familiar face.

TheDark Pictures Anthologymakes no effort in hiding the fact that many of their characters' face models are recurring. Perhaps this is a hint at each story taking place in an alternate universe, or maybe it’s simplya fun easter egg for fans. Here are all the reused face models in theDark Pictures Anthology, so far. (Note that this excludes any face models that are used only as doubles withinLittle Hope(such as Andrew’s model being used as Anthony and Abraham) and are not used within any otherDark Picturestitles.)
Warning: Spoilers Ahead!
11Radio Operator, Reverend Simon Carver, & Reverend Leonard Carson
It may be easy to miss this particular model inMan of Medan. After all, the radio operator doesn’t get a whole lot of screen time before meeting his untimely demise near the beginning of the game.
However, Reverend Carver and Carson are much more familiar faces toDark Picturesfans as these two characters have much more of a prominent role in theLittle Hopestory. Although this male character model has appeared in the first two installments of theDark Picturesseries, itwas absent inHouse Of Ashes.

10Joeseph Roberts & Jason Kolcheck
Fitness enthusiast andmodel Jack Greenlent theDark Picturesseries his dashing good looks in bothMan of MedanandHouse Of Ashes. Green’s likeliness appears in the first installment asPrivate Joe Roberts at the beginning of the game, and once again (this time with a much more substantial role) in the third installment as Lieutenant Jason Kolchek.
This is another model that may be difficult to catch the first time around. Private Roberts merely serves as a prologue in his game, while Lieutenant Kolchek takes a leading role in his story.

9Bradley Smith, Alex Smith, & Nick Kay
Man Of Medan’sBrad and Alex are brothers, so it’s only natural they share the same base model who happens to be the handsomeUK-based model, Tom Weston. Although Weston’s likeliness was absent during the secondDark Picturesinstallment,Little Hope, he made a return inHouse Of Ashes.

Weston’s model was once again used in the third installment, this time as the very brave and capable Sergeant Nick Kay. Perhaps Supermassive Games will have Weston’s likeliness return once again in their last installment of the first season,The Devil In Me.
8Isaac Worel, Police Officer, & Eric King
It’s likely that fans of the series recognized Colonel Eric King’s face model fromHouse Of Ashesretroactively after returningto the previous titles as the roles his model was used in were rather minor ones.
Thecharming model Dawid Kociedawas used as the face model for Eric King, as well as the police officer that speaks to the bus driver at the beginning ofLittle Hope.He also appeared as Marshal Isaac Worel during the flashbacks to the witch trials in the ’60s.

7Joseph Lambert, James T. Clarke, John, & Dar Basri
Professor John had ample screen time duringLittle Hope, both as himself and his mysterious “doubles.” Joseph Lambert was the “double” who appeared during the witch trial flashbacks in the ’60s, and James Clarke showed up during the flashbacks to protagonist Anthony’s past.
This made recognizing theHouse Of Ashesantagonist, Captain Darof the Iraqi Republican Guard, rather easy for long-time fans of the series. After spending time with John and his doubles all overLittle Hope, Dar was likely one of the most easily recognizable reused character models within the series.

6Charlie Anderson, David Milton, Dennis Clarke, Daniel, & Joey Gomez
Talentedwriter and actor Jonathan Burteauxserved as the base model for the many characters in theDark Pictures Anthology, and has been present in all three games in the series. Burteaux was the face model for Charlie at the beginning ofMan Of Medan; however, he didn’t get much time in the spotlight as he was only used for the prologue.

InLittle Hope(the game in which he had the most screentime), he was Daniel in the present day, and David and Dennis in the flashbacks to the past. Unfortunately, his role as Joey inHouse Of Ashesdoesn’t leave him a whole lot of time to shine, as hedoesn’t survive for very long.
5Danny, Thomas Wyman, Passerby, & Nathan Merwin
Merwin’s character inHouse Of Ashesstood out due to his rather abrasive personality. However, underneath it all was a soldier that still cared about pulling his weight on his team. It’s likely that most fans recognized Merwin’s character model after going back to previous titles, as his roles inMan Of MedanandLittle Hopearen’t as prominent.
Merwin’s face model was also used as Danny, one of Olsen’s henchmen. It was also used forJudge Wyman in the witch trials, and the passerby that finds a devastated Anthony in the game’s prologue.

4Glamour Girl, Tabitha Milton, Tanya Clarke, Taylor, & Clarice Stokes
The beautiful and incredibly talentedmodel, stunt woman, and personal trainer Eleni Miaritihas served as a face model throughout each installment of theDark Picturesseries so far.
She was the elusive (and terrifying)Glamour Girl inMan Of Medan, played Tabitha (in the witch trials), Tanya (in Anthony’s flashback), Taylor inLittle Hope, and returned once again as the snarky Dr. Clarice inHouse Of Ashes. Hopefully, fans will see her once again in the season one finale,The Devil In Me.

3Olson, Vincent Barnes (present), & Balathu
Olson, the main antagonist inMan Of Medan, and also served as character models in bothLittle HopeandHouse Of Ashes. InLittle Hope, Olson’s face model returns as a present-day Vincent Barnes, better known as the “stranger” for most of the gameuntil the reveal of the ending. Vincent was Tanya’s boyfriend at the time of the fire shown in the prologue.

He then returns once again (this time once again just for the prologue) inHouse Of Ashes, as Balathu. With the proper choices, this Akkadian general comes back from the dead to terrorize the group of protagonists.
2Junior, Vincent Barnes (past), & Kurum
London-basedactor and model Michael Addolent his dashing good looks to Junior, one of the few antagonists inMan Of Medanand once again to the younger Vincent Barnes (Tanya’s boyfriend) inLittle Hope.
His character model returned once again for the prologue ofHouse Of Ashesas Kurum, the imprisoned Gutian that. Similar to the entry above, the proper choices will lead to him eventuallyrising from the dead as a vampireto terrorize Colonel Eric King and his team.
