So now comes Hotfix 1.22 to further fix some of the issues that players have reported coming across inCyberpunk 2077. It is not a massive list of fixes, but it does boast a few quest bugs that should now be resolved so that they won’t continue to get in players' ways. The quests impacted include “Gig: Until Death Do Us Part,” “Epistrophy,” “Down on the Street,” “New Dawn Fades,” and “Riders on the Storm.” WhileCyberpunk 2077still has plenty more bugs to be squashed, the hotfix is at least some good progress.

Other improvements in Hotfix 1.22 include various issues being fixed that were causing clothes on NPCs to clip into their models and subtitles to be misaligned when in Arabic. The hotfix should also cut down on crashes as it improvesCyberpunk 2077’s memory management and also the GPU performance of rendering clothing and skin. For consoles specifically, the Xbox One version of the game is receiving GPU and ESRAM improvements with the patch while the PlayStation 4 version is getting further memory management improvements. The Google Stadia version ofCyberpunk 2077is also having an issue resolved that saw players soft-locked in the key binding menu if they went into it without a keyboard connected.

The hotfix doesn’t bring a great number of changes, but CD Projekt Red’s rate of updates is impressive regardless. It is always great to see a company stand by its product, and withhow wellCyberpunk 2077sold despite its issues at launch, there are many fans that will doubtlessly be thankful for the various improvements to the experience. Hopefully, CD Projekt Red can continue to improve the game and bring it closer to what the company and fans were originally hoping it could be.
