TheChuckyseries has officially revealed that its second season will premiere just in time for Halloween. The horror television series follows the events of Don Mancini’sChild’s Playfilms and features the return of notable alumni. Mancini serves as one of the executive producers on the series, as well as its creator.
The first season of theChuckyseries contained 8 episodes that aired on a weekly basis on both Syfy and USA Network. Shortly after all 8 episodes aired, the series was added to Peacock’s catalog.Chuckyincludes the return of Brad Douriff, who has voiced the iconic horror doll since 1988. InCurse of Chucky,Douriff was joined by his daughter Fiona in the horror series as Nica Pierce. Fiona also returned to reprise her role in theChuckyseries.

The official Twitter account for the television series tweeted a teaser trailer that revealed thatChucky’s second seasonwill premiere on July 18, 2025. The teaser trailer was Halloween themed with various children and teenagers dressed in costumes. The teaser breaks up the images of the teens in costumes to warn viewers to get ready for this Halloween. It then cuts to a closeup of a pumpkin carved to resemble Chucky’s face. The pumpkin has a knife lodged into it near his right eye, and his signature maniacal laugh can be heard in the background. The final shot of the teaser is theChuckylogo and narration that promises a new season this October.
The placement of the knife on the pumpkin in the teaser resembles one of the many scars that litter Chucky’s face throughout theChild’s Playfilms. Season 2 ofChuckyhas already begun to add to its cast. It was previously announced that Devon Sawa will return for season 2 as a different character. In season 1, Sawa played twin brothers Lucas and Logan Wheeler. The series has also added Lachlan Watson to the cast, who will portray Glen/Glenda, Chucky and Tiffany’s child.
Chuckyintroduced a new generation of teensto be terrorized by the sinister doll. The series began with Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) buying the Good Guys doll at a garage sale with the intention of using his head for a sculpture. The sinister acts of the doll change the course of Jake’s life by killing his father and forcing him to live with his cousin Junior (Teo Briones) who bullies him at school. Eventually, Junior, Devon (Björgvin Arnarson), Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and her younger sister Caroline (Carina Battrick) are all pulled into Chucky’s twisted game.
Aside from these new characters, the series also saw appearances fromChild’s Playalum. Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent), Nica Pierce, and Tiffany Valentine (Jennifer Tilly) all appeared throughout theChuckyseries to reprise their roles from the films. Andy was joined by his foster sister Kyle (Christine Elise), who aided him in his attempts to help the children.Chuckyseason 1 endedwith Jake, Devon, and Lexy narrowly escaping the sinister doll, while Andy was being held hostage by Tiffany. What the outcome for the Chucky doll army will be inChucky’s second season will be discovered this October.
