Reddit user andCall of Duty: Warzoneplayershared a clip showcasing the new bug, and it is absurd to say the least. When walking up to the ground loot, the player’s screen goes entirely white, with the area near the gun entirely obscured by brightness. As for why this happened, it is anyone’s guess, though the player would have no chance of seeing an enemy if they came near this loot. Eventually, they move forward and see that it is an MP-40 SMG is causing the problem, though it can likely happen with numerous items that appear as ground loot.

Commenters also make it clear that the issue is happening on PC as well as PS4, so no platform is truly safe from the bug. Gamers do, however, say that this glitch is prone to happening onRebirth Island. In particular, several players like CallOfHonour have claimed that they have run into the issue at the Harbor and Security areas of the map. As such, gamers planning to land at one of these locations should be wary of the flashbang-like items, as it seems like there is a good chance they will appear at these points of interest.

Alongside some serious comments where other players report the bug, plenty of Redditors cracked jokes about it. Some claimed it was apay-to-winCall of Duty: Warzoneblueprintthat blinds all who look at it, while others dubbed it the holy MP-40. However, while the glitch is funny to those who stumble upon it via Reddit, it is likely far more frustrating to those it actually happens to in-game. As such, hopefully Raven Software fixes it soon.
