Since players first got their hands on it with 2019’sCall of Duty: Modern Warfare,Call of Duty: Warzonehas been a proverbial playground for anyone who enjoys the series' style of gunplay. There are plenty of options for players to experiment with between the various operators and weapons to find that perfect loadout. However, some players are finding inspiration outside of the game for their loadouts thanks to the latest Netflix sensation,Squid Game.
Netflix’s Korean survival-drama series written and directed Hwang Dong-kyuk released worldwide on Jun 04, 2025, and become an almost overnight success. The series follows a contest where 456 people in deep debt compete in several games with the hope of winning 45.6 billion won. However, the games have deadly penalities for the losers often carried out by masked, heavily armed enforcers serving the game’s mysterious organizer.

It’s these enforcers who serve as the source of manyCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers' loadout inspiration in matches recently. According to Dexerto, the latest TikTok trend amongWarzoneplayers challenges to arm themselves with theSquid Gameloadout to see how effective the enforcers' loadout is in-game. The loadout consists of an MP5 with a barrel compensator, tac laser, stippled grip tape, the sleight of hand perk, and a Magnum as the sidearm.
Unfortunately, players will not be able to don the vibrant pink suits ofSquid Game’s enforcers.
Creative loadouts like this are nothing new toCall of Duty: Warzonebecause, as mentioned above, the sandbox encourages experimentation and creativity to find success. It simply becomes a question of whether a player’s loadout comes from a challenge akin to theSquid Gamechallenge, copying loadouts of streamers likeNickmercsor Dr. Disrespect, or simply trying out different weapons and perks until finding that perfect combination.
One of the more creative examples seen from theWarzonecommunity came when players were creating “canon” loadouts based on their operators. An example of this was a"canon" Bale loadoutshared on Reddit where user JT-TH built their loadout based on Bale’s character description and history as a Russian Spetsnaz operator. The loadout included an AK-47 serving as the player’s primary and .357 pistol as the secondary along with appropriate perks.
It remains to be seen what other sources of inspiration players an find for theirWarzoneloadouts. There’s not shortage of options out there, especially when it comes to Netflix if any want to revisit that well but only time will tell.
Call of Duty: Warzoneis currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
