InCall of Duty: Warzone,every player has at least one moment where the unexpected happens. These either end up as epic fails or epic wins, as players rely on their instincts alone to carry them to victory. In a game likeWarzone,there are tons of opportunities for players to embrace the moment and record their time in the epic spotlight.
In this particular moment, aWarzonefan had to act quickly as they descended on an unoccupied helicopter. Ever sincehelicopters returned toWarzone,players have considered them a priority drop. Not only do they offer fast transportation, but they can give teams a much needed aerial advantage in tight situations.

The video starts with a fairly standard drop. TheWarzonefan has locked their eyes on an unoccupied helicopter and works towards landing either on or close to the vehicle. Once landed, they find themselves on the side of the helicopter standing on the foot bar used to climb in. Before they know what’s happening, the helicopter begins to rise. Turning, the see an enemy player has taken the controls and one wrong move could result in being launched into the helicopter blades. Aiming quickly, they shoot the pilot and rush for the controls, climbing in and taking their place. At the last moment, they turn the helicopter away from a wall avoiding a nasty crash and claiming their prize mid-air.
The amount of luck involved in this entire exchange is insane.Helicopters inWarzoneare notoriously dangerousand the fact that the player did not get caught in the blades was a mark of luck alone. If they had jumped, theWarzonefan would have found a bloody end. One wrong move and they would fall off, resulting in damage and possibly instant elimination.
There are tons of helicopters scattered across the map. Some fans have memorizedWarzonehelicopter spawns, making them a tad bit more predictable. Still, with so many players in a lobby at any given time it can become difficult to secure a helicopter let alone get away with one.
Although the advantages and disadvantages of a helicopter are constantly argued by the community, fans do agree on one thing. Helicopters are great transportation across the map, and a vital part of theWarzoneexperience. It was a mistake for Infinity Ward toremove helicopters fromWarzone,but fans are happy that they eventually made a triumphant return.
