There is an understandable tendency for players to try and “fix” a weapon inCall of Duty: Vanguard. So when a gun like the NZ-41 comes along and explicitly says in the description “Recoil becomes difficult to control with sustained fire,” gamers will naturally equip it with items that reduce its recoil.

The problem with this strategy is that such a process turns the assault rifle into a weapon with average recoil with below-average attributes in all other areas. The better bet is to embrace the problem and treat it like a rapid-fire sniper rifle. Sniper rifles are all the rage this year in Call of Duty: Vanguard and the NZ-41 makes the transition flawlessly.
Operator
Players who have gotten to workunlocking all of the operatorswill be well-rewarded. Solange offers double experience toward both the operator and the weapon while using the NZ-41. It’s a great way to unlock all of the attachments possible and climb those tiers.
Of course, once the weapon is maxed out, the gun is just as good on any operator. Unlocking Solange isn’t too tough, players just need ten double kills to their name. Even a poor player will get lucky enough to have this happen after a few hours of game time.

Although thedifferent editions have different unlocksand attachments ready to go, all of these are accessible after leveling up for any edition. Go ahead and throw recoil completely under the bus with these attachments. Anybody firing the NZ-41 for more than one bullet per squeeze is going to be disappointed no matter how they build this rifle.

The loadout focuses on accuracy above all else to turn it into a two or three-shot per kill sniper rifle. Even with the bad recoil, it’s very possible to fit in many shots against a target for a brief window, especially with all of the stealth packed into the NZ-41 with these attachments.
Secondary Weapon
Nothing ruins a great stealth loadout like a pesky killstreak reward in the sky. With two statistically identical options for smoking the spy plane down, grab one of them and stay protected. Since the NZ-41 doesn’t have the range of a sniper rifle, it’s all the more important to take care of these situations quickly.
Between the Panzerschreck and the M1 Bazooka, even though players might have fond memories of the former in anumber of campaign missions, go with the M1 Bazooka. The limited vision of the Panzerschreck isn’t worth the headache.
Perk 3
Tactician
Although Ghost is tempting for this build due to the stealth element, the effect is only useful while moving and the NZ-41 loadout should not be moving around too much. Plus, the secondary weapon can help deal with any pesky planes.

Forward Intel is great for the NZ-41 because the expanded mini-map will help them spot enemies that are out of range for traditional snipers. For extra mines, Tactician is always good for a few kills every round against clever players who try and sneak up behind the player.
Lethal Slot
Since the playstyle depends on camping out in an advantageous area, why not choose to own that area? The Demolition Charge can be tossed in an area in view where it’s a bit too close for comfort. A couple of taps of a button and the threat is dealt with without having to adjust the aim.
It’s a great bit of insurance when there is a perfect sniping ground except for one entryway. The developers attempt to keep things balanced with their maps by always having an area or two to allow opponents to sneak around. This puts a stop to those plans.
Tactical Slot
Always a classic for snipers, the S-Mine 44 guards the one area that snipers can’t afford to be checking: behind them. Veterans toCall of Duty: Vanguardare masters of sneaking around and getting behind mid to long-range gun users.
The Tactical perk makes this choice even better, refilling the slot every so often with another S-Mine 44. This can result in getting a string of kills by simply listening for the mine to detonate and then firing at the noise.
Killstreaks
Although some of the higher killstreak rewards are worth their salt, acquiring them is easier said than done. Thankfully, the majority of what the NZ-41 needs to succeed is easy to access. Intel and Spy Plane speak for themselves, giving the assault rifle plenty of heads-up when an enemy might step into view.
Mortar Barrage usually results in a kill or two, but that’s not the primary purpose. It forces enemies on the backline outside of their safety zone and into the NZ-41’s sights. Especially against bulky true sniper rifles, this advantage goes to the NZ-41 every time.
Field Upgrade
With a nice average cooldown, being able to see all moving enemies always gives players a chance to come away with a few kills. It can also be used defensively when S-Mine 44s are all expended and there is a worry about attacking enemies from the side or behind.
