As expected, Infinity Ward has released a new update forCall of Duty: Modern Warfareand theWarzonebattle royale. The new update is light on any big changes to either game, but it does change up the playlists quite a bit, giving fans of the FPS titles some fresh game modes to try.

ForModern Warfare, the July 21 update brings back standard Ground War, Reinfected Ground War, Cranked, and Gunfight 3v3 - Snipers Only. It also brings back the Shoot the Ship playlist, which is a playlist that exclusively features the smaller-sized maps Shipment and Shoot House. Both maps are pretty popular, but fans have already started complaining on Twitter that Infinity Ward didn’t bring back Shipment 24/7 with the July 21 update.

As far asWarzonegoes, Infinity Wardremoved Warzone Rumble and Plunder Trios, but added Plunder Quads back to the game. Fans have been waiting for Plunder Quads to make a comeback for quite some time, with some not satisfied with the Blood Money variant that Infinity Ward has been featuring instead. Some fans may be upset that Warzone Rumble is gone again, but others will no doubt be satisfied by the return of Plunder Quads.

SomeCall of Dutyfans may be anxious for some more substantial updates, but luckily, they shouldn’t have to wait too much longer. And while nothing official aboutWarzoneSeason 5 has been revealed just yet, there have been some teases.

Activision has teased thatWarzoneSeason 5 will add a moving train to the map, presumably with high-tier loot on it as has been seen in other battle royale games. Other map changes have been suggested by leaks and dataminers, like the possibility of Stadium opening up or Dam being destroyed.
