InAtomic Heart,players step into the boots of Comrade Major P-3 as he fights off a deadly robot revolt in Facility 3826. P-3 will come acrossmany violent robotic enemieswhile exploring the facility. This includes boss fights complete with health bars and nailing the right timing to dodge a wide array of attacks. There are a few bosses scattered throughout the game.
The first boss that is a real test is theHOG-7 Hedgie robot. Players can catch a glimpse at it early on in the game, but the real fight won’t start until they’ve reached the open world. After P-3 gains access to Exhibition Park, pressing the button at the center of the arena will start the boss fight. Here are some tips to defeat the hedgehog-shaped bot inAtomic Heart.

Attack When the Bot is Overheating
The Hedgie will spend most of the fight rolled into a ball while quickly bouncing around the arena.There is no point in wasting ammowhen it’s rolling around. The outer shell will absorb the damage, and its erratic movements are hard to follow.
After dodging enough of its moves, it will stop and sink to the floor in an overheated state. Orange pieces glowing with heat will temporarily eject on the bot. This is the opportunity to strike andshoot/hit the glowing parts.
Activate the Pillars
The button to start the boss fight also activates a large pillar. Baiting the Hedgie’s rolling can cause it tocrash into the pillars.This will cause the Hedgie to get stunned and go straight into the overheating phase. Around the boss arena, there aremore pillarsthat can be activatedusing the Shok ability.Use as many pillars as necessary to force-overheat the Hedgie and quickly lower its health.
Hedgie Attacks
The Hedgie has a few nasty ways to harm the player. Now is a good time to learn how to effectively use P-3’s dodge.Double-tap the B/Circle buttonto quickly move out of harm’s way. When the Hedgie’s in ball form and spinning in a large circle, it will shoot bursts of three projectiles.
If the ball form stops and points at the player, it will charge at P-3. Use the dodge at the last second to avoid this. Watch out for any time it jumps in the air, regardless of shape. When the bot comes down, it will create a large shockwave that has to be jumped over to avoid damage.
When the Hedgie is low on health, it will get quicker with its attacks. It will bounce multiple times in ball form and throw a large slash when crawling around. It will also throw out a glowinggravity fieldthat will suck the player close to it. Dodge as soon it drops the field, as its next move will smash the player and shoot out shockwaves. If P-3 is killed, the checkpoint will reset next to a newsave station and vending machineto restock if needed.
