Now one talented artist has illustrated the iconic Kratos and his son, Atreus, onto a pair of Vans shoes. The artist oXFallenAngelXo shared photos of their creation on theGod of Warsubreddit, where they quickly accumulated praise from viewers in the comments. One shoe features Kratos, while the other focuses on his son. The design and shading are excellent, and the color brightly pops despite the unusual canvas it was painted on.

Fellow fans in the comments have expressed how impressed they are with oXFallenAngelXo’s creation and joked about wishing they were their nephew so they could getGod of Warshoes of their own. oXFallenAngelXo has previously shared other pairs of Vans that they’ve added illustrations to, featuring characters fromSpider-Manand animeMy Hero Academia. oXFallenAngelXo notes that it took them somewhere between 10 to 15 hours to complete theGod of Wardesign. Some voiced concerns about the design rubbing off or being damaged from the uniquevideo game shoesbeing worn, and suggested that they wouldn’t actually wear them in order to protect the design. However, the artist noted that they use an acrylic finisher over the art to help protect it.
