Players choose classes called “Vault Breakers” that they equip with gear as they progress along withseparate skill trees to aid the player in their mission (here are some games that specialize in skill trees). Each Vault Breaker is uniquely designed with several abilities, weapons, and skills that offer many different play styles. However, some Vault Breakers shine where others only emit a dull glimmer. Here is an Anvil: Vault Breakers Tier List based on player use and feedback.
D-TIER
Sandman
Sandman is in need of a revamp; his abilities leave quite a bit to be desired, along with his damage and mobility. While Sandman is strong in CC, the class does not shine in any particular area. Lacking the range of Lightning or the ability to buff allies like Shuri leaves Sandman in a place of his own.
However, there is hope as Sandman, and many other classes are scheduled to receive a significant buff to make them more prominent for end-game content.

C-TIER
Liner
Liner as a class is a special case; his kit is adequate, but it needs a buff that will attract more players to him(he also bears a similar design to Destiny 2’s Titan armor sets). According to many players, his ability Shock Trap deals an impressive amount of damage, but Acceleration Module feels lacking.
His basic Skill, Missile Launcher, is fun and unique but lacks damage compared to other Vault Breaker skills. Liner also lacks valuable team mechanics and healing options. This, paired with his basic mobility, places him in C-Tier for now. All it would take is a small buff to bump liner up a notch, maybe even higher.

Bronte
Bronte is a Vault Breaker with a lot of appeal but consistently gets left behind because of a high skill gap and odd ability tree(she seems to have problems similar to Nova in Warframe. Her ability Eye of Plasma pairs well with her ability Detonate, sending forward a snare that drags enemies and then an explosion of damage.
However, mechanics make the combination feel clunky as it staples fluidity with a cooldown in between casts. When cast time is invaluable on the battlefield in greater difficulties, Bronte doesn’t stack up well compared to other Vault Breakers, which places her in C-Tier.

B-TIER
Jungler
Jungler is an overall solid class, his kit doesn’t lack beneficial skills, and he doesn’t slack off when it comes to damage. Being one of the starter Vault Breakers, while Jungler’s playstyle is very defensive and easy to learn, his abilities like Land Mines and Cross Fire are very capable of clearing waves of enemies.

While Jungler does have mobility, it doesn’t stack up to others high on the list, and his lack of versatility influences his player usage after they unlock other classes. Jungler can push through in solo play but may rely on its team composition to shine.
Rush
Rush is a unique class for Anvil, a member of the heavy type Vault Breakers and melee-oriented. Rush succeeds at dishing out chunky damage quickly and has some above-average mobility for a heavy.
However, relatively new, Rush lacks appeal and has a skill gap that finds players going toward familiar or more versatile Vault Breakers for end-game content. But the correct item configuration turns Rush into a menace on the frontline, and perhaps a future patch may push him further toward the top.

A-TIER
Gilluatine
Gilluatine is a force to be reckoned with on any battlefield, reminiscent of Diablo’s Barbarian. Dishing out massive damage with his Executioner ability that also steals health from targets hit. Summon Axes' ability puts an exclamation point on the fight as giant axes fall from the sky, striking a massive area and setting enemies on fire. Gilluatine is very fun to play Vault Breaker and ranks high among players, even next to Mountain, a fellow member of Heavy Vault Breakers.

While a strong contender for an S-tier spot, Gilluatine’s lack of mobility and a slightly lower use percentage than other classes on the list land him at the top, just in A-tier.
Toast
Toast is a very grounded Vault Breaker and the only Heavy Vault Breaker equipped with a ranged weapon. Toast flourishes against large groups of enemies; he can prock high damage over time numbers with fire damage and clear large groups with his ability Crash Wave.
Toast is also able to hard CC and regenerate health with his ability Singularity, which pulls enemies in and makes them sitting ducks for his Flame Thrower. Although many Players find Toast more than adequate in solo play, Toast lacks mobility compared to other Vault Breakers that stand out. Welcome to any squad; Toast makes it to A-Tier easily.

Elsa
Elsa is a Vault Breaker that doesn’t lack in damage or utility. Her ability Ultrabeam is capable of causing top-tier damage numbers. Her hard CC ability Icewave hits a wide arc, rooting enemies and even bosses; this makes enemies highly vulnerable to high damaging abilities, especially with a squad.
Elsa is a powerful and solid Vault Breaker that sees a fair amount of use but not as high as other Classes on the list. Elsa makes it to A tier because she’s good, but just a few classes provide better options as support. She is still welcome to many squads because of her utility.

S-TIER
Lightning
Lightning is perhaps the most versatile Vault Breaker in the game. Top marks in mobility and damage, Lightning can clear out waves of enemies without breaking a sweat. In addition, two primary abilities make Lightning a top-used Vault Breaker. The first is Homing Lasers, apossibly overpoweredranged attack that allows ranged attacks to branch off and attack multiple other enemies.

The second ability is Lighting Dash that shrouds the player in energy, buffing their attack speed and mobility that also damages enemies passed through. Lightning’s kit makes him the most used Vault Breaker placing him at the top of the food chain, especially when paired with a squad with solid teamwork.
Shuri
Confidently the best support Vault Breaker in the game, Shuri provides invaluable resources on a squad. Her ability Breeze places a large AOE heal effect on the ground for allies. Shuri can also CC with her escape ability Twister Teleport and buff her allies with Gust Wind.
Shuri has all the tools to keep herself and her team alive and dish out substantial damage at the same time. To make it to the final Biom of Anvil isn’t impossible without a Shuri on the squad but greatly wanted.

Mountain
Arguably the best heavy Vault Breaker in the game, Mountain pairs high survivability with high enemy destroying damage. Mountain’s kit is equipped with multiple hard-hitting AOE abilities that CC enemies, block damage, and heal the player over time. The most common remark about Mountain that places him so high up on the list is how good he feels to play.
Ripping through enemies with Mountain’s ability Meteor Smash makes players feel powerful against sometimes spongy targets. The best place to be as a Mountain is in the middle of everything. However, some of Mountain’s abilities leave him very vulnerable to being knocked over, which at high difficulty content can be disastrous.

Uzi
Fast and Deadly makeup aspects of the Vault Breaker Uzi; One of the most mobile classes in Anvil thatreminds players of Overwatch’s Tracer, Uzi decimates enemies while quickly moving out of dangerous Spots. Equipped with two machine pistols that provide adequate attack speed, Uzi can dish out tremendous damage with her ability Phoenix Wings.
Uzi also has defensive capabilities to protect herself and her allies with her ability Umbrella. This ability would come quite in handy should an ally fall in battle and need to be resurrected. A bit of a high skill gap, Uzi is fun and versatile to play with and a welcome member of any Vault Breaker squad.
