Animal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers will also get to meet a new NPC as part of Summer Update Wave 2. Luna is a new character who will appear whenAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers sleep and dream. Players will be able to dream to access “dream islands” from around the world, which essentially lets players visit a copy of other players' islands. They can also upload their own islands to the cloud for other players to visit in their dreams as well.
Presumably, this will be tied in to theAnimal Crossingisland save backup feature, which will finally be available as part of the July 30 update as well. Letting fansback up theirAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsisland save datato the cloud will undoubtedly be a huge relief to anyone worried that their Switch console could get lost or broken, asAnimal Crossingsaves are tied to the console, not the cartridge.
