While Twitch is primarily known as a way for people to stream video games, popular streamer Amouranthhas become a star on the platform for her Just Chatting streams. That doesn’t mean Amouranth doesn’t play video games, though. In fact, Amouranth received a PlayStation 5 console as a Christmas gift and just recently she revealed that she was banned from the dancing gameJust Dance.

According to Amouranth, herJust Danceaccount was banned after a hacker changed her username to something inappropriate. Amouranth reached out to Ubisoft and the officialJust DanceTwitter account to see if she could get the ban reversed, as she would otherwise lose all of her high scores. It seems that the people responsible for breaking into Amouranth’sJust Danceaccount were able to do so thanks to aJust Dancedata breach that happened in late December of last year.

Amouranth received a response from the officialJust DanceTwitter account about the issue.Just Danceresponded by saying that the developers are aware of the problem and working on a solution. “We will have more info to share on this soon!” No timetable was provided for when the overarching issue may be fixed or when Amouranth’s account will be restored.

Just Dance, for the uninitiated, is a long-running dancing game series that has seen at least one new entry every year since the first game launched in 2009. Often featured inbizarre E3 skits, Ubisoft has keptJust Danceas one of its premiere titles, with 2022 likely set to see yet another entry in theJust Dancefranchise. While nothing has been announced just yet, chances are good that thenewJust Dancegamewill be revealed around E3 time.

The only question is if the game will be revealed as part of a traditional E3 press conference or if it will be shown off through anotherUbisoft Forward presentation. Ubisoft Forward is essentially the company’s answer to Nintendo Direct, where it uses these presentations to highlight its upcoming games outside usual gaming events. It’s possible that Ubisoft will stick with Ubisoft Forward presentations moving forward, but it’s also possible that it will have a presence at this coming E3.

As for Amouranth, she will likely continue to stream on Twitch regularly and make content for other platforms.Amouranth has ambitious goalsand it will be interesting to see just how long she is able to stay at the top of the Twitch streaming world.
