Destiny 2’s latest Exotic mission Avalon has proven to be quite the challenge for Guardians, but a few players have found out an Exotic weapon from theForsakenexpansion can get the job done.Exotic missions inDestiny 2have always been popular with fans because of the grandiose scale and the lore implications. These missions are also quite difficult to complete thanks to the treacherous terrain, a few well-placed mechanics, and deadly and tenacious enemies.

Long-timeDestiny 2players will remember the excitement and trepidation when they walked into the Taken portal and found themselves in the depths of Io. The Whisper was the first Exotic mission inDestiny 2, and it instantly became a hot topic within the community. Since then, the game has seen the likes of Zero Hour, Pressage, and more that have perfectly emulated the sense of both wonder and dread. The popularity of these Exotic missions is so high that Bungie has dedicated an entire team to develop more in the future and plans to introduce anExotic Mission Rotator in Season 22 ofDestiny 2.

Merely a week after the launch ofLightfallexpansion, several Vex nodes were observed in the Gulch region of the EDZ, which generated a buzz in the community. Upon collecting these nodes and traversing through a nearby cave, players came upon a portal that dropped them into the Vex network. The Avalon Exotic mission can be daunting even for a seasonedDestiny 2player due to the lethality of the Vex forces, but a few community members have discovered the Wish-Ender Exotic Bow from The Shattered Throne dungeon can safely dispatch the final boss, possibly due to an unintentional damage glitch.

In a video posted by YouTuber Cheese Forever, a player is shown wielding Wish-Ender while facing off against Brakion, the final boss of Avalon. The video showcases Wish-Ender arrows piercing the invulnerable shield and dealing an incredible amount of damage to Brakion in the second phase of the fight. In the third phase, the player goes behind a Radiolarian waterfall to avoid Brakion’s deadly attacks and safely shoots through the stream to hit the boss. Both of these instances take advantage of Wish-Ender’s intrinsic perks, as the bow can safely pierce through barriers and see enemies through obstacles when the string is fully drawn. Players have speculated that the increased damage in the barrier phase might be a bug, similar toDestiny 2’s new Exotic Stasis Glaive.

A similar bug occurred with Fighting Lion, which subsequently got disabled forDestiny 2’s new Root of Nightmares raid. Thus, players who wish to clear the Avalon mission and claim their Vexcalibur should take advantage of this before it gets patched out.

Destiny 2is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
